How to make strawberry roll-up crescents
Are you looking for a delicious, inexpensive and easy to make snack for your whole family? Then this is a perfect recipe for you. This is so easy that this is a perfect recipe for children as well. These tasty treats are less than 180 calories each! They are great for morning treat, after school snack, dessert, class treat or any «bring a dish» dinner. This recipe will make 8 yummy, low calorie treats.
Turn your oven to 350 degrees. Spray your cookie sheet generously with any type of cooking spray.
Unroll a fruit roll-up. With a sharp knife, cut the square roll-up diagonally to make two triangles.
Open your crescent tube and then unroll out the crescent dough.
Take a triangle fruit roll-up piece and place it on top of the crescent. Try to fit the shape as best as you can. Fold over any excess roll-up. You do not want any to hang from the sides.
Starting at the wide top of the crescent, start rolling up the dough and fruit roll up. Start from the thicker edge.
Roll all the way down the dough to the narrow tip, keeping the tip on the bottom of your crescent.
Place on greased cookie sheet forming into a crescent shape. Place in the oven and set your timer for 5 minutes. Check them and turn your cookie sheet around. Set your timer for 4 minutes. If they are golden brown, they are finished.
Remove them from the cookie sheet immediately and place them on a plate. Let them cool for a few minutes. While you are waiting, get your baggie and put a few spoonfuls of frosting in it. Squeeze the frosting down into one corner of the bag. With scissors, cut the tip off of the corner. Using the baggie, frost the crescents in an «S» pattern or whichever you prefer.
