The ideal healthy diet
The phrase “healthy diet” in the tittle suggest at least a minimum of diseases if we believe health is influenced by food. And we have to believe it is true since if we don’t eat at all we die. If we eat just cakes all day long and water we will eventually get sick. However it all depends what is it that we call healthy diet. Healthy diet for some is avoiding saturated fats or eating a low fat diet. For others a healthy diet is eating a high carbohydrate diet. Others think that we achieve better health eating raw foods or fruit juices. Healthy diet could be for others eating according to their blood type. The health professional class are not in total agreement. The government pretends to lecture us on what is a god diet.
What are we going to do? Who are we going to believe? One day this type of food is good and a couple of Months or years later is bad for us. One thing we all know and that is that the extremes are not good at all for anybody. After eliminating the extremes we still need to find the best diet to reduce risks of disease. We have to do it individually. After all we are the owners of our own bodies.
What will be the best common sense approach to discover what is the best diet to avoid risk of disease? I have come up with my own approach but I can’t impose my views on anybody. My approach is mostly common sense but is mostly my own common sense. Beside common sense I used some scientific knowledge that have helped me decide. I believe that the most possible natural way we can eat the best doe us. I think this way because I think God has given us all we need to eat because of His love for us.
However, the love of money have twisted some people minds and in order to get oour money they have come up with a fast but health negligent way to prepare food and place it in their shelves for sale. Have they thought about reducing risks of disease on us? Of course not, and they wouldn’t be able to when other competitors will not care about our health but still put those that care out of business. It just trickle down to us. The more of us that don’t care the less choices we have to choose a healthy diet. The less we care about our health the more government think they have the right to protect us from unhealthy diets and the more regulations they pass to do that. Politicians don’t even know what is a healthy diet (they are sick as well) but the opportunity has been presented for them to control us and private companies.
As we all as individuals start taking responsibility for our own health we are going to start discovering what is really working. In the most recent decades people started doing just that and the alternative medicine was born. One of the pioneers was Adelle Davis. She was a nutritionists that work with Doctors at Bellview Hospital during the 60’s. Actually there is so much information out there for us to choose our own diet and to find out if it is really working. We don’t need government or anybody dictating to us what is the “healthy diet” we need. Freedom and the free market will do that for you. More and more people are discovering that the food industries cared more or solely about the money than about the health of the people.
