Tape the drop cloth along the baseboard of the wall or walls needing wallpaper removed.
Use the paper tiger in a circular motion and score the paper. Use repeated and overlapping circles. The «paper tiger» is a flat round hand held tool that has blades on the side of the tool that is against the wallpaper, and is used to serrate the wallpaper. This allows the liquid to saturate the glue.
Depending on the type of liquid, use either a spray bottle, or a paint roller to apply the liquid to the wallpaper. Saturate the area you are working on. Only work on about a 2′ x 4′ square at a time. Don’t let liquid dry or you will need to reapply.
Now use the scraper and start at the bottom, and scrap the loosened wallpaper. It should easily fall off the wall. If not, reapply more removal liquid.
After all wallpaper is removed, use a large sponge with water to clean the surface of the wall. This will remove any bits of paper or glue left behind.
When you are finished with a wall, remove the taped plastic drop cloth along with the sticky paper that dropped onto it, and throw away.
