How to make a honey pumpkin exfoliating mask

In the quest for beautiful and healthy skin exfoliating masks can be very helpful. This is a simple honey pumpkin mask that can be made a one. Honey is an antiseptic, it inhibites the growth of bacteria.

The additional ingredients are used to moisturize and return firmness to the skin.


Step 1

Steep green tea in boiling water. Set aside to cool.

Step 2

In a blender or food processor, puree pineapple and place it in a mixing bowl. Add pumpkin, honey and aloe. Mix it well.

Step 3

Stir in jojoba oil, green tea and cornmeal.

Step 4

Apply small amounts of pumpkin mask to cheeks, chin, forehead and neck. Massage in circular motion. This will allow the cornmeal to gently buff the skin. Repeat the process. Leave a thin layer of the mask on the face and neck for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Rinse with tepid water and pat dry with a towel.

✯ 1 teaspoon green tea
✯ 2 teaspoons pineapple
✯ 4 tablespoon pumpkin puree
✯ 1 tablespoon honey
✯ 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel
✯ 1/2 teaspoon jojoba oil
✯ 4 teaspoons cornmeal
✯ blender or food processor
✯ bowl
✯ wash cloth

Tips & Warnings
✯ Mask can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
✯ Make certain the tea has cooled enough that it will not burn.
