How to apply Bare Minerals makeup

Bare Minerals makeup by Bare Escentuals is a pure, mineral based foundation that results in a smooth, flawless look to the skin after application. The foundation powder is very finely milled, allowing it to be smoothed over any type of skin without feeling clumpy. Bare Minerals is available in a range of tones to suit nearly any skin color, and always results in a natural finish.

Step 1

Open the jar of Bare Minerals foundation. Gently tap some foundation powder from the jar into the jar cap. Start with a small amount, and add more as needed.

Step 2

Hold the brush in your hand and swirl the bristles in the cap to pick up the foundation powder. Tap the side of the brush against the edge of the cap to remove excess powder.

Step 3

Sweep the brush across areas of the face, starting on the forehead and working downward towards the chin and neck. Add more powder to the brush as needed by repeating Step 2 above.

Step 4

Use the tissue to pick up any loose powder that may have fallen on the eye lashes or eye brows before applying other cosmetics.
