How to use yogurt for skin care

Rub yogurt on your acne
When you enjoy a small dish of yogurt, leave a little in the bottom. Take this to the bathroom and rub it on areas of your face where you have acne pimples. Massage the yogurt into your skin. Wash it off with clear warm water.

Yogurt makes great hand cream
Make your own hand moisturizer with yogurt and lemon juice. Mix a cup of yogurt with the juice of a fresh lemon. Let this chill in the refrigerator for about an hour. Use it as hand cream rubbing it over your fingers and nails and both sides of your hands. Rinse off the yogurt with warm, clear water.

Make yogurt part of your nightly routine
As you go about your usual bedtime routines, use yogurt instead of commercial face masks. With its zinc and lactic acid, it will help remove dead skin cells and smooth out the wrinkles in your skin as well as cleanse the pores. Spread the yogurt evenly over your face and gently massage it into your skin. Let it sit there for 20 minutes and then gently wash it off with clear warm water.
